What we collect
- Your email address when you sign in with Google. It lets us personalise the app and reach you about your account.
- Billing identifiers inside Stripe (customer ID, subscription ID) so we can keep your plan active.
That’s it. Tasks, blocklists, and focus timers live in the Chrome extension’s local storage on your devices and never leave them.
What we never collect
- No browsing history, URLs, or tab data.
- No copies of your allowed or blocked site lists.
- No behavioural analytics, session recordings, or advertising identifiers.
How data is handled
Email addresses and subscription metadata are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) and protected behind modern security controls. Payments run through Stripe; TaskTabs never sees your card number.
If you cancel, we retain your email only as long as needed for billing records and to comply with tax requirements. You can request deletion at any time.
Your choices & rights
- Access / export: Email us and we’ll send the data we hold about your account.
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your TaskTabs account and we’ll remove your email and Stripe references (subject to legal retention timelines).
- Updates: You always control the blocklists, tasks, and timers locally—removing them in the extension erases them from your devices immediately.
